These grits are made from low country heirloom red corn and are stone ground on Edisto Island, South Carolina. Their name comes from a place where they were first grown, James Island, South Carolina. They are yellow with red specks and have a hardy, nutty flavor. No chemicals, artificial colors or preservatives are used. They make a delicious and colorful shrimp and grits meal!
